Have you ever drove down the road and saw a billboard with the tag line “Tired of Church as usual?” Or have you ever visited a church and heard the pastor say “Are you ready for something more?” “Are you ready for something different?” Or have you ever visited a church website where it states something like “Doing Church the right way…” Or, “Church…..But Different.” Yet church as usual continues, the average day-to-day life of Christians continues without any thought of asking “What was different this morning?” “What has changed?” My hope with this blog is that others begin to realize they are not alone in how they believe, and there are others out there who believe the way they do, and are asking the same questions. There is a big problem with the way church works today, and I’m here to blog about it. I will not be writing about hear-say accusations, but instead giving my personal experience of issues and problems inside the church. I do not have a PhD, I never attended seminary, and I will not give you a bogus answer or solution to a problem if I do not have one. I am not one of those Christian people who blurt out a solution to a problem, issue or concern and pretend as though I know what I am talking about; because I am just like you, I too am searching for answers and searching for the truth, and therefore sometimes I will not have a solution. Because this is about being real, and looking at the real problems and not ignoring them. I have attended church my whole life, and therefore I will not be ignorant in my statements about church. This blog is to undercover the problems and issues within the Church and help others realize that they are not alone in their frustration, confusion, hurt, depression, anger, and any other feelings they may have felt by those of the Church. So come and be apart with me, and let’s together find the Remedy!
